Haoning is skilled in tolerancing theory of complete optical columns and is currently writing related software tools at MEBS. As well as being a key member of the software development team, he is the responsible for Chinese Market liason.
John obtained his PhD in electron optical design in 1991, and has wide experience in three-dimensional field modelling and ray tracing in electron optics and provides. John provides customer support and bespoke design services, in addition to core software development.
Catherine graduated from Queen Mary University of London in 2015, with a BSc in Astrophysics. She is involved in product development and consulting.
Yoko obtained her BA in Philosophy from Gakushuin University, Japan in 2000 and a Diploma in International Trade from Cavendish College UK in 2007. She is responsible for Administration of Sales, Exports and Finances.
Emily completed her BSc in Computer Science and Business Management in 2019 at Sussex University. She is responsible for working on code development for in-house software.
Eric’s experience in electron optics dated back to the 1960's when he pioneered the use of finite element methods in electron optics. His electron lens design software has been used by most electron microscope manufacturers worldwide.
Xieqing studied Electrical Engineering at Tsinghua University, Beijing, obtaining his MSc in 1964. From 1965 until 1988, Xieqing was a Professor in the Institute of Electronics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, carrying out research in electron optics. Xieqing was a Visiting Scholar at Imperial College, London for periods between 1979 and 1982. From 1988 to 1992, Xieqing was a Research Assistant in the Applied Optics Group in the Physics Department of Imperial College. In 1991, Xieqing was one of the three founder members of MEBS, working for the company and acting as a director until his retirement in 2004.
Nigel obtained his PhD in 1972, for studies on electron microscopy. After work in Operational Research and as a Government Policy Adviser he spent 20 years in industry. He continued in management consultancy firstly with CAP Gemini and latterly as an individual consultant.
LeNa Systems Co., Ltd. was established in 2009 by Mr. Genya Matsuoka. The company develops customized electron beam tools and provides technical support for electron beam applications. Genya graduated from Tohoku University with an MS in Physics. He has much experience in the field of electron optics, having worked for Hitachi Ltd. and Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation for more than 30 years.
Marian Mankos is a senior research scientist and electron-optical designer with more than 30 years of experience in electron microscopy, lithography and holography. He developed novel instrumentation and techniques in these fields at IBM, Etec Systems (Applied Materials) and KLA-Tencor. In 2010, Marian founded Electron Optica, Inc., a startup company that provides complete electron-optical solutions.
